Wonder Woman
Our beloved Wonder Woman, our female betta, died. We had her for two years. We bought her just before we got married. She got the name of Wonder Woman because she survived a trip from Bunkerville to Las Vegas. It was sad to her go. We do miss her. We have gotten a new betta, but will always have a special place in our hearts for Wonder Woman. She was our first pet after all.

I remember when Cleo, our beta fish, died years ago. Same thing. We had her for almost 2 years. We once left on a trip around Christmas time. When we got back it was super cold in our house and Cleo was floating upside down. We thought she was a gonner. But, we warmed up some water and put her in it. She started wriggling and came back to life. We cleaned her cage and put her back. She lived a few more months after that, but she always swam lop sided after ward.
ReplyDeleteWe kept her on the kitchen table, and she was present at every meal. We were a pretty sad bunch when she finally died.
