Spring Break, Episode IV

So, I am actually going to combine Wednesday through Friday, because not much happened those days.

Wednesday we did things around the house.  We did some spring cleaning.  We ran some errands.  That was about it.  Kind of a boring day.

Thursday we were excited to hear that Luke joined the world.  We are so happy for Torry and Kevin.  I went to Home Depot to buy replacement bulbs for our kitchen.  Brielle mutinied Thursday.  Thursday didn't exist in her world.  However, Thursday night, we had dinner with Joe, Shauna, Hans, and one of Hans's friends.  We met them at Metro Pizza.  The pizza was wonderful, but the company was even better.  Joe had us going with some stories and Shauna had us going, purely by being herself.  She kept picking toppings off of the pizzas.  She tried cutting a piece in half and it didn't work out to well.  So what she did was held spatula on one half, and pulled the other half off with her fingers.  She then ate the piece she hadn't touched, and left the other piece she man-handled for somebody else.  It almost had us in tears we were laughing so hard.  We were so happy to see them.

Friday was my day of rebellion.  I had a really bad migraine, so we really didn't do anything.  Brielle did lesson plans.  She also made sugar cookies.  Brielle makes wonderous sugar cookies.  I cannot sing enough praises about her.  Or her sugar cookies.

That pretty much summarizes our Spring Break.  Lots of exciting things, but also lots of mundane, boring, grown-up things.
